    Privacy notice

This explains what JMTE measures, when optional analytics starts, and how to turn it off.

Controller details still need to be configured

This notice should not be treated as launch-complete until the operator and contact details in the Impressum are filled in.

    Who is responsible

The controller is the operator of Just Move to Europe. The full postal and contact details are in the Impressum.

    Essential storage

JMTE stores your analytics choice in your browser, with the choice, policy version, and time of the decision. This keeps the site from asking again on every page. It is not sent as a standalone analytics event and stays until you change it or clear browser storage.

    Aggregate traffic

Vercel Web Analytics is always active to count page traffic and understand broad sources and device patterns. JMTE removes search and filter values from analytics URLs while keeping standard campaign parameters such as UTM tags.

Vercel describes this service as cookieless. It creates a one-way visitor identifier from limited request data, uses it for a session, and discards that identifier within 24 hours. JMTE uses this processing for its legitimate interest in maintaining and improving reliable aggregate site measurement. Read the Vercel Web Analytics privacy documentation.

    Optional product analytics

PostHog stays off unless you choose Allow product analytics. The legal basis is your consent. If you choose Essential only, its script does not start.

    PostHog

PostHog receives pageviews and selected product interactions. It can also record a replay of page interactions so JMTE can find broken or confusing flows. Form values and rendered search phrases are masked, element attributes and analytics URLs are sanitized, and browser console logs are not recorded.

JMTE does not use PostHog for advertising, retargeting, or selling personal data. See PostHog’s session replay privacy documentation.

    How long data stays

    • The local consent choice stays until you change it or clear browser storage.
    • Vercel says its session-level visitor identifier is discarded within 24 hours.
    • PostHog session recordings in JMTE’s EU project are configured for 30-day retention.

    Service providers and transfers

JMTE shares analytics data only with the providers needed to run these services: Vercel and PostHog. PostHog is configured to use its EU ingestion host. Provider documents linked above contain their current details and subprocessors.

    Your choices and rights

You can withdraw or grant optional analytics consent at any time. Withdrawing stops future PostHog capture on that browser. It does not change processing that happened before withdrawal.

Depending on applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may also complain to the data protection authority responsible for your place of residence or the controller. Use the contact details in the Impressum to make a request.

    Changes to this notice

JMTE will update this page when the analytics setup, providers, or data practices materially change. A new consent version will ask visitors to choose again when the optional analytics disclosure changes.
